Frequently Asked Questions 1How do I get updates on how my cat is settling in while we are away and is The Cat Hotel suitable for my cat ?

We pride ourselves on a personal service and aim to ensure your cat is settled and enjoying the stay. Our unique 5 star will ensure your Cat is cared for in the lap of luxury .

Our Facebook page is updated with pictures and posts  each day to keep everyone updated on what mischief our guests are getting up to. These pictures are only uploaded if you consent to this, otherwise we can Whatsapp you on a regular basis.

We have many outdoor & completely indoor cats that stay with us who are completely happy and at home in the cattery. Our hotel is completely indoors ensuring that they can stay warm as they are used to at home, whilst there are also great views and fresh air for them to enjoy from our secure balcony areas. All suites look onto an indoor safety corridor which gives protection against the elements and have secure viewing balconies which do not restrict their outside views.

Will a the Cat Hotel be okay for my cat , is it secure ?

Lots of our customers have never used a cattery before often because they have never found one they are happy with. We have lots of ‘first timers’ – from small kittens to very elderly cats and they usually settle very well with the proper care and attention.

We also have a high level of returning customers, and get a lot of referrals from a number of vet groups in and around Tayside. A lot of customers come to us through ‘word of mouth’ recommendations too. There are many reasons for people to need to use the Cat Hotel and we are always happy to discuss any individual situations and offer advice to customers without obligation.

We always take contact details of your cat’s vet at time of booking. In the event of illness we would contact you first to keep you updated.  We are fully insured whilst your cat is in our care and our local vet , Angus Vets , is on hand 24 hours a day and available to attend any cat in case of any emergency. Our vet can consult your own vet if any additional information is required.

Our building is very secure with double doors our suites have magnetic locks to prevent doors opening without a human being there. We also have a high tech security system , supplied by Simplisafe , that has animal friendly motion sensors thta protect our guests and property .

What if I have nervous cat?

Not a problem, we pride ourselves with our our patience, care and expertise in making all our guests feel relaxed, special and cared for. Even the most nervous cat will settle in no time at all once they see our suite windows viewing windows , the local wildlife will keep them entertained for hours.

Calming mood music , treats and cuddles will have them relaxing in no time at all.
